THE MEMPHIS MURAL WORKS
THREE STEP PROCESS
Concept Consultation
Commissioning a mural with us is a collaborative process, tailored to your vision and space. We start by immediately considering such factors as the size, shape, and texture of the wall or surface, along with its audience, location, and function. Whether it’s a vibrant streetscape or an interior conversation piece, our strength lies in our versatility and ability to execute the design that best suits each client with the most efficient application and technique. We are confident in our ability to provide the correct design solution for every environment. While we prioritize commissions that offer us the most creative freedom, we are open to creating custom work that speaks to your unique style and vision. Please note that the level of creative freedom, in addition to other specific challenges may affect the square foot rate and increase, or decrease the budget.
Design Development
Our process begins with a complimentary consultation where we meet to discuss your ideas and intentions for your artwork, and explore the possibilities. For a faster turnaround on a price estimate, customers who wish to expedite the process can send in photos of the wall and measurements. Upon approval of the budget, we move into the design phase which requires a non-refundable deposit of $400 USD. This deposit includes (ONE) original design mock-up, and (ONE) round of changes and edits. Additional rounds of revisions incur a $400 per round, and significant changes exceeding 50% of the original design direction require an additional $400 re-design fee.
