My Artistic Journey
Weaving Creativity and Community
My journey into the world of art began in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, where I was born and raised. Even as a young dreamer, I had an innate passion for creative expression, and I was fortunate to be surrounded by the vibrant culture of the city.
It was within the underground world of the Hip Hop Community that I discovered my true artistic calling. As a budding Graffiti Artist, B-Boy, and active promoter, I immersed myself in a subculture that celebrated creativity and unity. It was here that I witnessed the profound power of art to bridge gaps, inspire connections, and bring people together.
Armed with a Graphic Design degree from the University of Memphis, I set out on a mission to make art accessible to all. The journey led me to find the “Soul Food” graffiti art festival, a celebration of creativity and diversity that has since become a platform for my artistic vision.
Today, I’m recognized as a visual artist who specializes in murals and Public Art, with a unique focus on community engagement and mobilization.
